Hi, Yes, I use the VMWARE with uv-linux and uv-windows on different vm but only for development, training, demo, test and db convertion. I have linux host for dev and training session and windows-XP host (my workstation) for dev - test - demo - db convertion. Not on production with many

Go to dos and cd to the directory where you want to install, then type in the path to the uv executable, this should then prompt you as to what flavor you want to create: e.g: cd d:\data\newaccount -- is where you want to install c:\ibm\bin\uv -- if c:\ibm is where uv is installed Cheers, Phil
