Great - I almost posted another message mentioning the line number might be
wrong in the error message and should be pointing to the line cited. Wouldn't

Don't know why that would error as assigning a file name to a variable is often
used, however your error message in line 35 should end with D.KEY as D.FILE is
a file handle.
