Garry,
Wow. Just to clarify ... Are you saying that the MV-based platforms are
dead and those of us who use them are relics who can no longer sing? And
you came here to a forum full of people who happily use this technology
every day to say this to us?

I pointed to his book online on Pick BASIC, but was looking for a
one-pager to print, like on paper, for a coffee shop intro. I'll
either just write one or stick with what I told these guys up front --
that MV BASIC is the language that God intended us to write, so we
were born with the innate know
Cool! It doesn't help us for this purpose, but nice to know. Thanks. --dawn

I remember PROF. I think it started on Prime Information. I only
recall it teaching the MV query language, however. I don't recall
BASIC in there, but it might have been. I suspect someone has it on a
9-track somewhere ;-) --dawn

Does EPick v1.0.4.EPICK0 equal an MV cheatsheet. ;)
Yes, I still have an ancient copy on the D3 system here.
No, I don't use it for real research.
It is fun to read and I just don't have the nerve to purge it.

Wouldn't a cheatsheet for MV Basic be kinda big?
Or would you leave out those things which to us seem obvious, like "=" means
"is equal to" in a logical statement, or it means Assign.
"+" means add, ":" means concatenate
Concatenate is a four-syllable word however, so that might be a problem.
To answer everyone:
Yes, PROF was a tutorial account which you might find on a
Reality, ADDS, or maybe GA system.
Sierra-Bravo simply published the D3 Reference Manual at
d3ref.com and then forgot about it 6 years ago.
Yes, Malcolm has/had a ton of things like this but he may not be
selling anym
Seems I remember a tutorial program that taught the basics (no pun intended) of
the Pick DBMS/OS. As I recall it was PROF. I can't find anything online about
it though. Does anyone have any information about this program?

I wonder if Sierra Bravo has something like that.

Didn't Malcolm have this at one time?

I have cheatsheets for JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for training student
interns but do not have one for MV BASIC. It's a long shot, but just
in case anyone has one, I'd love to see and use it. Thanks. --dawn
