We had a similar problem with Windows 2003 on an IBM server & Universe
10.1.3 dropping all network connections at the same time - took a reboot to
fix. Problem very intermittent - could occur every hour or not for days.
Turns out: IBM has a problem with the on-board BroadCom NIC (they also have

done recently.
