I asked that very question of the U2 people last week. As I recall, the
answer was sometime this month.
Once the PE's are back, it would be a good extra step to do a couple of
public EC2 AMIs (http://aws.amazon.com/ibm/#ec2runibm) with them installed.
It would lower the barrier still further if
I don't see UniVerse PE for Linux available for download anymore. I
seem to recall a few years ago when IBM pulled it until they could get
some licensing issues ironed out.
Does anyone have any further information on when it might become
available again?
