Thanks for the input It appears that a previous programmer wrapped 'ed' and this caused the problem

I edited a TYPE 18 FILE WITH 'ed <<FILENAME>> record_name' and when I saved it, it changed the name to uppercase. I then typed in 'ED FILENAME record_name' and it opened a new record, but when I went 'ED FILENAME RECORD_NAME' it was there. Any idea why when I typed in ed in lowercase, it uppercased the record? ________________________________________________________________________ Regards Bjvrn Behr Programmer HYFLO Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd Tel : +27 11 386 5800 Fax : +27 11 444 5391 Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] WWW : http://www.hyflo.co.za ________________________________________________________________________ ------- u2-users mailing list u2-users@listserver.u2ug.org To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/ ------- u2-users mailing list u2-users@listserver.u2ug.org To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/
