HP-UX has a facility called DDFA. It is meant to be used in conjunction
with HP DTC's but can be used without using DTC's too. It allows you to map
an incoming IP address to a fixed tty. It works well for the first
connection from that IP address, but we have never been able to figure out
how to make it work for second and subsequent connections from the same IP
address.
