Hello Henrik, the problems I reported a couple weeks ago still exist.
1. When I boot feisty with my USB braille display connected brltty still
attempts to start twice initially giving an error which I have to press any
key on the display to dismiss.
2. Orca is still not able to connect to brl
Hi, I un installed lsr which didn't work anyway.
After I did open office loads but I get no speech.
However when exiting it does ask if I want to save changes.
So the problem must be with something that got installed when I installed lsr.

Hi, I notice the power settings in ubuntu only allow the system to hibernate.
Is there a package I can get that will just turn the drive off like windows
does.
This way less power will be used at night and the system will still be up if I
need it.

You didn't say what version of Ubuntu you are running. I just tested on
my Feisty box and had no problem opening the Open Office word processor.
My system is running the latest packages as of this morning.

Sounds like a problem peculiar to your system, I'm afraid. What version
of Ubuntu are you using, and how are you starting OpenOffice.org?

Are you trying to remove the CD when you have booted from it? If so,
doubt you can do it. Trying to remove the disk the system booted from
would be like removing the hard drive the system booted from while the
system was still running.
