Hi, for anyone using dosemu to play text adventure games.
I found yasr seems to work a little better.
Orca does work, but for some reason your last move is repeated several times.
For example n might say you are on the porch.
When you press s you hear the same thing again.

This is a new ubuntu installation that started out with version 6.04 and
upgraded to 6.10. Gnopernicus in earlier instances of ubuntu livecd use
was lots easier to start than orca is when the rest of the supporting bits
would work. I never did manage to do an independent ubuntu installation

Active screen reader development is now ongoing with Orca not
Gnopernicus. Does Gnopernicus allow you to do something Orca does not?

I noticed when gnopernicus is used with speech enabled typing the ls
command doesn't get any file names or directories spoken. Is the program
not yet correctly configured or do I need to use something else to get ls
speaking? Before I ask anymore basic questions, does this mailing list
