In some flabors of Linux a boot parameter exists that tells the booting
Linux not to do hardware probing. That may be what you need to use.

The accessibility select control needs to be changed from a single select
radiobutton to a multiselect radiobutton to accommodate installers who use
speech and cannot use the mouse. As of now, it's an either/or and it
needs to get to an and situation when necessary.

Hi,
Is there a way to bypass my nvidia video card so linux will boot? I think
that it may be the cause of my problems.

Hi,
I can't get ubuntu 7.4 feisty to boot using the live cd. I have an nvidia
video card, logitech USB headphones, pentium processor 512mb of ram and
sound blaster live sound card. it runs on my wife's computer with a celleron
processor, intel video card, on-board sound using soundmax digital.
One other question. Have any new axcessable features or programs been added to
the live cd since tribe two.
Mike.

Hi, any news yet on when the live CD will be fixed so orca will work. I have
people who want to try it, but don't want to waste my time downloading it until
orca works.
I can't use the mouse, so need speech to use the desktop and wxplain it to them.
If it is going to still be a while, let me know
