hi alan, well if this would be the only problems in ubuntu 13.10 i would say it would be pretty accessible and things. but unfortunately also additionally to petr's message there are also still the issues with the dash which you invoke with the super key. nothing seems to read over here.

Remember too that development resources, including those in the area of accessibility, are stretched pretty thin right now with the move to Mir and the new Unity that will span all sorts of mobile and set top / desktop platforms. I'd suggest sticking to Ubuntu 12.04 for now. That's what I
