Just to confirm: you have the menu item in 'Accessibility', but gok is
not installed? What doesdpkg -l gok on the terminal say?

Oh yes, sorry, i'm using up-to-date Dapper i386 (dist-upgraded from 5.10
quite some time ago) with gok version 1.0.10-1ubuntu1
The menu entry has been sticking around for a while but i've only just
gotten around to filing the bug, so I guess it could have been upgraded
while installed. Cheers.

I'm guessing this results from the change we made to the gok menu item
some weeks ago. Did you have dapper installed some time already? I
expect this would not happen on a fresh install because there the menu
entry never appears.

Thanks for your bug report. Which version of Ubuntu and gok do you use.
For me gok does not show up in the menu at all.
