Is Karmic stable enough to play with if you require a screen reader? Is it
worth trying that with Orca and braille support?

Hi, I got a USB soundcard today and ubuntu shows it in the list. But when I
switch to it the sound still comes out of my other soundcard. Have any of you
had this problem in karmic?
