As a result of doing several experiments, I have had to reinstall Ubuntu
several times. Most of the experiments were in the hope of getting my
headphone jacks and microphone working. Although I haven't managed to
do that, I have discovered somthing. I have had a lot of problems with

Hi, I was playing around with making drawers in intrepid. What I found is that
if you add one idem in a menu it adds all of that menu to the drawer.
But the strange thing I discovered is when going through the preferences menu
orca reads the items fine.
But, when reading the same items when

I tried reproducing this by adding a drawer applet to the top panel and
then adding the GNOME Main Menu to the drawer. When I navigate the
drawer, things seem to read the same as the regular main menu.
How are you reproducing the problem?

Hi, In ubuntu intrepid if I go to the shutdown menu after the system starts it
works fine. However, if I use the system for a while and log out of and back
into my account. When I go to the shutdown menu in the system menu it says it
is in accessible.
But if I go to it in the top panel

When I try it, I get prompted for my password and then nothing. After I enter
the password, I loose speech. Orca is still running, but flat review sees
nothing and I can't seem to switch to any of my open Windows.
