Hi, I found the windows installer that installs ubuntu inside windows to work
very well. But can anyone tell me why the following didn't work.
I thought it would be a good idea to carry ubuntu on a flash drive so I could
install it on peoples computer.
I copied the content of the live CD to my flash drive, and tried the installer.
It worked and got to a point where it asked me to reboot, but shortly after
starting to do the actual install it crashed.
I rebooted and found that the installer did copy files from the flash drive,
but it didn't create a image like it does when you do this from the CD. Also,
it copied files much faster from the flash drive, so maybe it didn't copy
everything it needed.
My question is, is there a way to get this installer to do what it has to from
a flash drive?
Mike.
