Hello everyone!

Here's another thing to add to our Tasks page: it's Ubuntu-branded apps
initiative led by Scott Ritchie. It first appeared in Karmic, but Ubuntu
branding has changed since then, so half of artwork created for Karmic needs
updating. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/branding for more info.

I've looked through the current state of the effort (as delivered to
Maverick desktop) and that's what I found:

 * Gnome-games card backs: branded, does not need updating
 * Gnometris background: branded, needs updating
(/usr/share/branding/gnome-games/gnometris/pixmaps/gnometris.svg)
 * Mahjongg tiles: branded, need updating, but that's not very noticeable
(/usr/share/branding/gnome-games/mahjongg/pixmaps/postmodern.svg)
 * GIMP splash screen: not branded; concepts:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Artwork/Incoming/Karmic/Branding_GIMP,
http://ubuntu-art.org/content/show.php/Ubuntu+Gimp+Splash, the one from
example-content
 * OpenOffice splash (LibreOffice since Natty): not branded; concepts:
http://ubuntu-art.org/content/show.php/Ubuntu+Gimp+Splash, I guess we should
collaborate with LibreOffice team on this
 * Eclipse splash: marked branded but I haven't tested myself (and I don't
quite believe it because OpenOffice is marked branded but evidently isn't);
concept: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Artwork/Incoming/Karmic/Branding_Eclipse
 * Blender splash: not branded, no concepts I could find

I propose a branded and high-resolution Totem "nothing played" icon (really
ugly since Karmic AFAIR:
