Matthew East filed a bug (https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/37852) suggesting that wallpapers don't really belong there, which is true. They were included before there was really much else content and at a time when the art team didn't have much representation in the default install. Both of those things have changed now.

I'll be removing the wallpapers from the example package shortly, but I would encourage you to put some of them forward for inclusion in the artwork package so they will show up in the wallpaper selector where they belong I would esp. support the 'dapper.png' one make in Blender by Ville Sokk (though perhaps the name could change -- dapper is a bit generic in this context).
