It was there to accentuate the toolbars. I'm not sure about working the
other direction, if you can expound on that (or do a paint-over mockup)
that'd help a lot. I'm also aware of windows having no menus, but with (or

I think the colors really work nice and certainly are original.
My problems with it are that the buttons are too small and square.
But I really like how it looks with the window border.I'll start making
a metacity version of that.
