Checking a data DVD for errors

Greetings to All Is there a simple way to test a data DVD for errors. The command line utility 'fsck' does not seem to cover ISO 9660 and other filing systems used on DVD's. Can 'fsck' be extended or what else can I use ? Thanks David Bow -- ubuntu-au mailing list

Hi, Want to use a TV Tuner card with Ubuntu, apparently this is no problem with MythTV though on the following page http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Supported_Hardware The guide talks about plugging in the card then running commands to see if it compatible? I want to know if it compatible

Hi... I use a Pinnacle 72e (DiB7000) and this works out of the box from ubuntu intrepid (8.10) onwards... any earlier then you need to apply kernel patches etc... This is however (72e) only a single channel receiver and it might be wise (I wasn't!) to get a dual channel receiver then you can
