Good evening all,

It's that time in the cycle again, that's right, Release Time! As
usual, if anyone is contemplating holding a release party now is the
time to speak up so we can help you prepare for it if necessary. I've
forwarded on the notice that was sent to the loco-contacts mailing
list for your information. The basics are:
* pick a time
* pick a place
* document it on the loco portal
* email the list
* attend and have fun with other local Ubuntu users

It's that simple. I think we should aim to see if we can get one in
all the major cities this release if we can, that would be awesome.

As always, sing out if you have any questions. I will not be directly
organising one myself this release to allow someone else to come along
and have a turn up here in Brisbane while I am furiously studying.
I'll do my best to come along as long as it's not on an assessment
day.

The 12.10 release party event has been added to the loco team portal -
If you'd like to add your team there that would be great! Many teams
have some form of a party, pizza, talks, geeknics, if you have ideas
why not share them here to give others some ideas on what you do! it's
up to you! Just have fun and celebrate 12.10 and share Ubuntu with
your friends.
