I found that the advice below (posted by Eythian) calmed it down instantly, i also added .exe to the exclusion list just to be on the safe side. "What I've found helps as a workaround is to find the problem filetypes (e.g. .jar files), and add them to the filetype exclusion list (open beagle ->
