This and couple more bugs have been fixed. I believe newest Brasero
package is good enough for a backport.

Please try this with an other GTK engine than QT. For me it seems it is
a libqtengine bug.

ndiswrapper is composed of a userland software and a kernel modules. If
the software (this package) can be backported, for working, it would
need to backport the kernel module. That is not feasible actually.
Sorry.

Now that 3.2.1 is out, that would be even better to backport:

Public bug reported:
The new version of libnetaddr-ip-perl should be low risk for backporting
as it's a small change, but it should bring substantial performance
improvments for applications (such as Spamassassin) that use it:

Does this mean it's still possible to backport libtorrent, and if that's
done, rtorrent can be backported? Should another bug be opened for that?
Note: according to this post:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=371275
libtorrent 0.11.1 and rtorrent 0.7.4 can be installed from source and
The only thing that depends on libtorrent is rtorrent, so it's OK to
backport both as a pair.

You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu

- Considering build-dep libcurl4-openssl-dev
- Trying libcurl4-openssl-dev
- Cannot install libcurl4-openssl-dev; apt errors follow:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Couldn't find package libcurl4-openssl-dev
W: Unable to
However on Ubuntu Feisty, libtorrent can build with libcurl3-openssl-dev
(as well as the rest of the dependencies listed on
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=371275). Other posts in the
thread confirm that it works on Edgy, although I have only built it on
Feisty and haven't installed yet.
rtorrent is the one that fails; if we are to build against libcurl3-, we
need to modify the source and treat this as a source-change backport.
