Thanks for that build - although it was i386 and I'm x86-64 it did reassure
me it would build; so I built 5.0.1 from the gutsy sources and it does seem to
fix the black printing problem the feisty version has.

Matthias, do you honestly believe that Sun Microsystems, of all
companies, would change the public API for Java in a MAINTENANCE
release? I have looked through the changelog line by line, and have
seen no indication of such a thing. Could you please post a link to the
document that says they have

which prevented openoffice to be installed with a german dictionary as reported
in bug #112171
Siegfried Gevatter wrote there, that he is closing the bug because it has been
fixed in Gutsy. Someone
i'm looking for this also. Please consider to taking this into account.
