Just a couple of hints:
The target should be dapper-backports, instead of dapper.
In debian/changelog, the width shouldn't be bigger than 80 chars, but the line
with your name is.
The version number should be blah~dapper1 instead of -dapper1 (since
blah-dapper1 > blah > blah~dapper1). Using ~dap
Builded fine for me without backporting anything else. I installed it
and it works without any problem.

I can confirm that scribes 0.3.2.9 that has just been accepted in Gutsy
(sync from debian) builds fine in a pbuilder, installs fine and works
like a charm. It has no rdeps so this is not a problem.
Many persons are getting it from getdeb, this should not be a solution.
