Yes, please backport Audacious, it has new features and solves some annoying
bugs.
Backporting package 'audacious' would probably require to backport
'audacious-plugins' as well.
Lucid version is 2.3-1ubuntu4, natty version is 2.4.4-1.

i have finally found time to test the backport in lucid, and I confirm
it works. unfortunately, I can't test in maverick, but I don't see why
it would fail there.
