when I tried to install the 3.6.1 version available from your ppa
(ppa:mvanderkolff/octave-3.6), synaptic asks me for uninstall Scilab and
more stuff. It seems to be a problem dependency in libhdf5-7 package. It
doesn't happens with the ppa:picaso/octave, by Sam Miller.
