Well, if that actually happened, it would, but it's not likely to
happen. We usually just roll the Debian packaging back to do what it
did before dh_python2 was added (pull-debian-snapshot gpxviewer 0.4.1-1
would probably be helpful)

@Iain: Thanks for the answers. Attaching the diff, although it might not
matter. When attempting to install and test the new package, it fails
because gimp breaks on gimp-plugins-registry (<< 4.20120506). Quantal
has 5.20120523 but it failed to build because it contains references to
g_thread_init.
