I'm testing boinc right now, anyway I don't think there is real need to test
reverse-deps, since this backbort is API/ABI compatible, and it adds just a new
package.
(debian accepted the backbort a couple of days ago)
how do you suggest to test? just rebuild and run?

Okay, thanks. I've uploaded it. I think it should be safe for existing
packages as far as they go since python-osmgpsmap will still be
available in trusty release.
btw, could you look at osm-gps-map in utopic? Seems it might make sense
to remove creepy and gpxviewer for now?
** Changed in:
Install some of the applications (no rebuild) and do some basic testing
to make sure they still work.

I chased up the situation in Debian a few weeks back, and the gpxviewer
maintainer
