After installed latest qt 4.3_2ubuntu1 backport packages I have problems
in skype 1.4 with visual corruption during scrolling and in the systray
icon.
Compiled debian packages 4.3-4 and they works perfectly so I understood that

in effect it is not so easy.
The core driver are in the kernel and you have to patch direclty the kernel.
This is not so easy because I think dapper kernel is only open for security
bugs and critical ones.
