Having looked at the versions of debhelper in play, and the versions
that introduced / fixed various bugs, my current reading of the
situation is as follows:
All current bionic and focal versions in release, updates, and backports
(11.1.6, 12.10, and 13.5.2) will be producing packages where the ol
x27;t be hugely
invasive.

@dino99, I cannot duplicate this. I can update signatures individually
or using the signatures downloaded by freshclam. Also, the package which
does updating (freshclam) is part of 'clamav-freshclam', not 'clamav-
daemon'. Can you see if that is installed? If not, where did you get
the clamtk pac
Keith, can you verify the version you are running? 4.23?
Also, please try running "clamtk" (sans quotes) from the commandline to
see if any error messages are being thrown out there.

Thanks for that build - although it was i386 and I'm x86-64 it did reassure
me it would build; so I built 5.0.1 from the gutsy sources and it does seem to
fix the black printing problem the feisty version has.

related to the ubuntu bug #79261; in that the version in feisty misses
black on some epson printers (c86 in my case); now the Gutsy one is only
5.0.1 but apparently has a fix for this particular problem in ; it's a
