The package is well tested on precise by me and others. I maintain a ppa for precise which has 140 users and no complaints. the only issue is yade that will not build with 0.13 due to a bad version check: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=680285 it works fine with the api
