Hi,
yes, this should be a SRU, however please follow
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MOTU/SRU. In particular I'd like to see a
debdiff relative to the dapper and edgy source package and the
description updated with what's actually the cause of the error and how
it is resolved with an upgrade.
Thanks,
-> unassigning motu-sru. Please *subscribe* us, once you've got a
debdiff to review. Otherwise it won't show up in our worklist.
Thanks,
Stefan.

Hi,
sorry for the extreme delay. Finally there is a fixed package in the
dapper-proposed archive, which needs to be tested. It would be great, if
you could help testing and leave a comment on bug #72951 if the package
solves the problems (or also if it doesn't work for you).
Thanks,
Stefan.

Hi,
After quickly looking through the changes between 2.6.11 and 2.6.14,
these are imo good to go as is for an SRU. Now only someone needs to
supply a debdiff and take care for the SRU.
Unsubscribing motu-sru in the meantime. Once someone will take care and
provides the necessary info, please res
Hi,
unsubscribing motu-sru again: the motu-sru team will only approve/reject
requests, not handle them. Please resubscribe as soon as someone will
take care for this and provides a debdiff to review.
Thanks,
Stefan.

sorry for the long time this bug is present...
@John: I meant to bring this into dapper-updates anyway
The problem is, that we still don't have a StableReleaseUpdate-Policy
for universe, but I hope that will be discussed in the next few weeks
now.
Cheers,
Stefan.

Hi,
I'm rejecting this bug now, since I don't see a way how to backport gch6
without breaking the library packages.
Feel free to reopen if you have a good suggestion how to do it.
Cheers,
Stefan.

Hi,
backporting ghc6 is a major problem due to the nature of the generated
libraries (especially the debian build system): Since it's not
guaranteed that different versions of ghc6 will produce binary
compatible libraries (also this might be the case for 6.4.2/6.4.1), the
