I am using the plugin on a daily basis.

I am not sure whether this is the correct place to mention this, but I
noticed a very slight problem: the plugin uses gnome-open to view the
compiled tex file in pdf, ps, etc. Unfortunately, gnome-open is not
available in the standard ubuntu installation. It is not a big deal,
because I immediately installed from the terminal, but it would be nice
if it can be packed to install automatically. (Another option is to
change all the "gnome-open" instances in the plugin to "evince", in
which case everything works as is.)
