Thanks for everyone who helped with this. It is greatly appreciated, as I am using the plugin on a daily basis.
I am not sure whether this is the correct place to mention this, but I noticed a very slight problem: the plugin uses gnome-open to view the compiled tex file in pdf, ps, etc. Unfortunately, gnome-open is not available in the standard ubuntu installation. It is not a big deal, because I immediately installed from the terminal, but it would be nice if it can be packed to install automatically. (Another option is to change all the "gnome-open" instances in the plugin to "evince", in which case everything works as is.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is the registrant for Oneiric Backports. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/858361 Title: Backport gedit-latex-plugin 3.3.1-1 from Precise to Oneiric To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oneiric-backports/+bug/858361/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-backports mailing list ubuntu-backports@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports
