Scott, the debdiffs in comment #25 (not the attached ones) apply against the respective Hardy versions they are derived from. As of 3 hours ago we've gotten new Firefox packages in Hardy, which I am *NOT* interested in backporting right now due to widespread reports on the internet(s) of CPU usage

I just noticed a strange home page feature. When I start firefox it opens my home folder, but my home page it set to be netvibes. So, if I click on Alt+Home, then I get to netvibes, but still, the opening page is my home folder. Anyone else having a similar issue? -- Please backport firefox-3.0

I just noticed that the homepage problem is valid only if I start firefox using the general keyboard shortcut for the browser set under System-Preferences-Keyboard shortcuts. If I start it from the Applications menu or the command line, it works fine. -- Please backport firefox-3.0 3.0~b4 final

Starting firefox-3.0 /home/spinus/ doesn't give any problem! The check box show hidden files works as expected and also the find tool works fine...I think the problem reside in the configuration of keyboard shortcut, can you post here the command that is invoked by the keyboard shortcut? --

It would seem like that would be a network related issue, but canceling did trigger some sort of bug. Did it work again after the next launch? (I wouldn't consider this bug a blocker for introducing this beta into Gutsy. I'm more concerned about any potential bugs involving breaking the package

This DID have a bug for me. After I installed Firefox 3.0 b4, I went to run it. It tried to check for compatible options for the addons I had. It froze when checking for Firefox (default). The little busy circle animated icon thing kept rotating for about 2 mins, and it didn't seem like anything
