dkms affects the kernel and many kernel modules, making it risky to
backport. Unless there is a strong justification for this backport, then
I don't believe it is worth backporting due to the high risk involved,
and the difficulty of testing the affected kernel modules.

Talked with superm1 on IRC, he clarified the situation. I'm confirming
this backport, it builds properly, and installs. The rdepends are kernel
source packages, as dkms is used to build it. There is no chance of
system breakage by libraries, and the worst it could possibly break is
compiling
