I have built jack-audio-connection-kit-0.116.1 and ardour-2.7.1 for
Hardy with prevu but I'm not sure what I need to do next. Can anyone
provide some direction?
I've read https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports but it is a
little vague - 4. If a test build has succeeded, a comment

I have test built ardour on both hardy and intrepid, and both i386 and
amd64. Khasheyer's debdiff for hardy made the package build
successfully, while ardour 2.7 on intrepid built with no issue.
So all clear from my POV.

I have successfully backported Ardour 2.7.1 to both hardy and intrepid.

https://launchpad.net/~khashayar/+archive. I've also built them locally
using prevu. Minimal testing shows they work well on my machine.
