I downloaded Xubuntu Intrepid i386 Live CD and ran it in a virtual machine yesterday (kvm) and installed the backported flash plugin (I didn't apply updates, and didn't install RealPlayer) in a Live session. I can confirm Firefox crashes when I try to read any flash video on Youtube. -- Please ba

Works with Firefox in a KDE desktop on Intrepid amd64. As for the tests in Gnome, it fixes the bug with Intrepid's current package where a lot of video don't show and you have to reload (F5) the page many (sometimes 10 times or more) in order for the video frame to show instead of a gray square).
