I've been using/hacking on/distributing setuptools-0.6c9 a lot, including installing it on Hardy boxes, and it does not cause any problems that I've noticed. It would not require backporting any other packages. I recommend backporting setuptools-0.6c9 to Hardy. -- Please backport
