I doubt it can upgrade itself--that'd require root access to be able to modify
Azureus that was installed from the package manager. This bug has already

hmm no, dunno. I have made the Vista switch about a year ago..
Try a manual update, or maybe a complete un/reinstall, that usually
helps..

Alcohol120% is emulation software.. If you dont know what it is, it's
probably not installed on your pc..
It can be uninstalled the usual way, it's in the list of programs accessible
through the contro

Alcohol120 is a cd burning application for Windows. I don't think that's
relevant to Ubuntu.

For any Windows-users ending up here, Windows XP has the exact same

Turns out Alcohol120% uses AxShlex.dll that conflicts with servers and
causes a high cpu usage.. Uninstalling Alcohol will solve the pro

Solution:
sudo apt-get install gcj
Edit /usr/bin/azureus this line:
exec java -Djava.library.path=/usr/lib/jni:/usr/lib \
Put:
exec /usr/bin/gij-wrapper-4.1 -Djava.library.path=/usr/lib/jni:/usr/lib \
