I am also a Gnome fan. But I tried openSUSE 11.1 KDE 4.1.3 and it never crashed for me. I used it for a short time, like a week or 10 days. But it really never crashed. Anyway, openSUSE is the boss of KDE. They might have been done something to make their distro stable. On Sun, Jan 25, 2009 at 3:
