I tried to play that file with VLC player also but failed.

there is no riff format. riff is a container. it can contain video,
audio etc. any type of resource actually.
what is the name of your audio file? extension?

when i tried to play that audio file totem movie player viewed...

When I mount any drive in my UBUNTU, it leaves an icon on the desktop. How
to prevent that???

Thanks. It worked. But it runs firefox using terminal. A terminal window
creates automatically and if I close that firefox also closes. Any way of
installing it like a .deb file??
