Saving temporary files elsewhere just relocates the problem - users
still won't know where they've saved the file.
Preventing edited files in /tmp/being deleted is (afaik) impossible
because you can't easily distinguish them from regular temporary files

Hi!
qc-usb is missing in 2.6.20. It's one of the external drivers inside
ubuntu/, and the source I've tried is in the archive (src: qc-usb).
Would it be possible to include it again with the next kernel-upload
please?

When I open a document through an sftp gnome-vfs URI, it is opened in
readonly mode. (smb:// works in read-write mode.)
At the same time, gnumeric provides full write access over sftp, so
there must be a problem with openoffice.org
