Correction to my previous post 2007-05-02:
I have just had the bug occur when no media is in dvd drive (hdd). First time.
This is probably irrelevant-The only change to my system is the recent
addition of an nfs read-only mount.

The only thing I did was to comment out the bit of code that check that
both a user password and a group password were given.
I believe 99.9% of people might be using both password, but for some
specific cases, network-manager-vpnc should accept that one of the
password is not

Liferea can use Gnome's settings, but it doesn't recognizes the
exceptions. However, you can set per-feed-exceptions in Liferea, so this
shouldn't be an issue. Therefore, I'm closing this report.
By the way, Liferea 1.4 will have better Proxy settings in the
preferences, as you can see in

I have written this for Dapper and Edgy already, but the problem
persists in Feisty too:
My case (Toshiba A105-S2716):
1. acpi=force does not do anything
2. When I first remove (rmmod) the module snd-hda-intel and then try to
shutdown everything goes the way it should be.

Hi. I wanted to share files with my brother's computer (I am running
ubuntu 7.04) but I couldn't get it to work.
I wish there was a setup assistant (or something) when you want to share a
file/folder so that it just works.

NET is crashing whenever I try to view shared folders on my WinXP
machines in SAMBA. I am using Kubuntu 7.04 (Feisty). If I manually
mount the shares that I want to get to, there is no crash. Only when
trying to view them in SAMBA.
