the patch breaks kdm because it enforces a hard-coded $HOME, while kdm
sets up its own one dynamically - it's not my fault that the admin and

Allright, I can see the DMA pointer not being updated. az_interrupt() calls
snd_pcm_period_elapsed(), where the position pointer is read using
snd_pcm_update_hw_ptr_pos(), which gets the current position from the driver:
azx_pcm_pointer() in our case. Printing pos shows that it its value

I have the same issue (lenovo thinkpad t43) and 2.6.20-16 does not fix
it for me

The upstream bug report is now being shown as Resolved Code_Fix. Is

I totally agree with comment 300. Why not just compile a kernel for us
ubuntu users which allows us to switch autosuspend off, if we want to? I
don't understand this.

System freeze totally after some minutes that composite manager is enabled.

I can confirm the bug.
nm-applet 0.6.5 on Gnome
Gutsy on unbranded PC with e100 network driver.
On session login NM won't detect network and signals that there is no
connection and no cable connected. The only way to make it work is to disable
networking with the applet and enabling it

I am having a problem very similar. I have two sound cards - one is
built into the motherboard and one is a usb audio, I mainly use the USB.
The only reason I do not disable the onboard is because the audio input
is not being recognized on my usb
