Thus, to build irqbalance one must have xutils-dev. To build xutils-dev
one must build xorg.

Now I can boot the LiveCD. I have a Asus M2A-VM HDMI mainboard and after
I have upgraded the BIOS from version 0801 to 1001 it boot without any
problems. It is a little bit strange because the DVD-Drive works just

When KNetworkManager is trying to connect, I see the wpa_supplicant
command-line from in the ps auwx display, but entering my password
and/or manually choosing my network parameters doesn't work. I'm simply

I could finally solve this bug. It was caused by the module lmpcm_usb,
the USB Logitech MediaPlay Cordless Mouse driver by David Oliveira.
The problem only existed with my USB Logitech MX Laser 1000 mouse. Even
if the lmpcm_usb module is for an other model, it somehow interfered
with my mouse.

I noticed the last report on this bug was from 2006-05-15, and I am

Should this work correctly by now? I still get white bars around the
panels and the menus, though shadows work correctly around normal
windows.

I tried your suggestion, but it didn't make any difference. I guess the
title of this bug is somewhat misleading, as both the stylus and the
eraser _are_ both actually in absolute mode (Xorg.0.log clearly states
so as mentioned in the bugreport addendum). My problem

Internal error when sending mail without attachment
