I'm seeing a similar result with Tribe-2 when choosing to do a Manual
Partition on the 30GB PATA IDE drive in a Sony Vaio SRX51 notebook.
Starting from an empty hard disk with no partition table, boot Gutsy
32-bit from LiveCD and choose to Install. When reaching the Partitioner

Simon,
Sort of, but not exactly. I have a fundamental disagreement with
assigning LOCAL group memberships using a remote source. In fact, I
think something like this should be DISALLOWED. I guess the best example
for how I think it *should* work is how Windows does it:

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree
In feisty, flashplugin-nonfree installs documentation, symlinks,
directories etc., but not the actual plugin itself.
This looks like a regression to #77116 and #50284, because I was able to
watch embedded flash content 2 or 3 weeks

nano /usr/share/ipmitool/ipmi.init.basic
The top section looks like this:
# load the ipmi modules
modprobe
Public bug reported:
I'm using NetworkManager plugins for vpn connections (both openvpn and
vpnc). I've noticed that when the dhcp lease is renewed on the local
network, it clobbers the resolv.conf that NetworkManager created for the
VPN connection, and I have to disconnect/reconnect to the VPN.
After configuring the partitions using fdisk I restarted Ubiquity, went
to the Partition Manual stage, and tried to simply assign the mount
points to the existing partitions. It allowed me to set partition #1 to
/boot, but after making the changes for #2 to be / it hung up and needed
killing.

I'm also suffering from this bug in Feisty; gparted is trying to delete
/dev/sda1, re-create it, and then format it to ext3. /dev/sda is a SATA
IDE drive, not removable or hotplugable in any way. mke2fs says
/dev/sda1 is mounted; will not make a filesystem here!. Funny that,
given gparted
