No. It wasn't working before. I just turned on Desktop Effects to test
out the driver. I would have thought that desktop effects would need a
gl driver. It's almost like I have a gl driver (hence the name nvidia-
glx-new) but I really have a normal nv driver in disguise.

Well, you can type something to the buddy so that he can see your message when
he goes online again (You need to activate a plugin to do this).
If you don't want to see those messages, just un-check that option in the
plugin configuration window.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: tracker
to make the build of tracker 0.6.2 work for i386 I had to install these
developement packages too:
python-dev python-gobject-dev python-gtk2-dev python2.5-dev
these packages should be added to the build-dep of tracker!

I had a talk with Bryce Harrington and hence did the strace . Maybe
that's also helpful.
