We have a network that's working fine with 2 other linux machines and
an XP laptop. For some reason though the ipw2100 card on my HP tc1100
laptop sees the network but doesn't seem to request IP addresses
properly from dhcp.
dhclient ends up with:
No DHCPOFFERS received.
I think that using the old bootlogd is the right fix. It seems that
bootlogd and logd can and should coexist on the same system (of course,
if they write to different logfiles). They just serve different
purposes.
Bootlogd is to save everything sent to /dev/console. It does not know
who writes

This solution worked for me and have been running for some time. It needs to be
put into the 8.04 alpha tree as I have seen the problem in the new branch as
well.when I test it a couple of weeks ago. If this fix is in a current alpha, I
will test the boot up on the Toshiba to ensure the live-cd
i opened the evo and i waited to unstack. After a while i tried to close
the App and it told me that the evo doesn't respond and if i wanted to
closed via force. i choosed to terminated via force. So the file didn't
have any trace. Eventually i deleted all the emails via the file
explorer. i

It appears that I am unable to upload to REVU and have my items
enqueued due to my GPG key not being listed or something to that
effect. I had originally submitted it months ago and had redone it
