Isen't it great how well documented the whole suspend thingy is?

hal is triggered and runs /usr/lib/hal/scripts/linux/hal-system-power-
suspend-linux

it isn't that easy afaik. I would stick with Vesa or maybe i810 driver
until the fix is released.

I agree with this.
The best place to do this, I think, would be in a check.d script in
partman-target that calls all the mount.d scripts in the same sequence
as finish.d/mount_partitions (which would involve splitting out a helper
script) and has some kind of resolution system if that goes wrong.

David. tuxpaint.conf is in /etc/tuxpaint. If you haven't touched it it
may not be interesting.
What I'd really like you to do is to see if you also get the missing
file things I get above.
Could you look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash and
install debug versions of tuxpaint,
according to garnacho this is related to PolicyKit.

This problem is still alive...
I have just setup upbuntu 7.10 (screen = 1024x768) and evolution version is
2.12.1.
The evolution windows are to big for the screen an it is not possible to down
size them.
Because i did not find this bug number i have opened a question (#25748 in
German)
