Btw. -i810 driver is deprecated since Gutsy and shouldn't be used
anymore if the -intel driver works fine. Afaik LinearAlloc, VideoRam or
CacheLine options aren't needed anymore. Btw. Xv can only be used by one
app but all other started video applications switch automatically back
to standard xorg

Running Hardy Alpha 5
Selecting a default printer under Preferences - Default Printer does
not do anything. Going to Administration - Printing shows that no
default printer has been set. Opening gedit and going to File - Print
doesn't reflect a default printer being said
I'm not familiar with nUbuntu, which you seem to be installing, and so
it's difficult for me to support this.
However, the problem here seems to be that console-setup isn't in the
read-only file system on the live CD, and so ubiquity has to install it
in a context where it isn't quite prepared to

This is intentional, because the location option is also used to set
your country for the purposes of locale generation, which cannot always
be inferred from the timezone. I don't think we can change this without
negative consequences - sorry.

reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the
development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could
test with it so we can work

Rythmbox will just randomly crash when a new song starts playing. When
it crashes, any songs added to playlists in the current session are
removed.
I have shuffle turned on so I don't know which songs its crashing on and
can't try to reproduce

I know I previously reported this, and it is still generating an error
when launching compiz from a terminal:
(screen now locked, and cannot access terminal). Top navigation in
Firefox (as well as other windows) is not accessible.

I'm experiencing the same problem on a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo running
7.10, with the difference that for me it's PERMANENT. After login,

tzdata upstream ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) to have the timezone name
changed.
